Book Underground Railroad Program

Film Producer and Author Gary Jenkins has been a popular speaker on the subject of slave life and culture in antebellum Missouri as well as the Underground Railroad along the Missouri/Kansas border. He uses clips from Slaves To Hire and Freedom Seekers to create compelling presentations.

Mr. Jenkins offers short luncheon or meeting programs of 30-45 minutes or full length programs of 1 to 2 hours. Mr. Jenkins has a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a J.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He was a Kansas City Missouri Police Officer for 25 years. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2000 and operates a solo law practice.
